Jesus Loves Me

Nothing could warm a mother's heart more...

I've incorporated "Bible Study Time" into our mornings (well, most mornings). I choose a story for the week and read it directly from my Bible every day with the girls. I tell it in "kid" terms and have them help me act out the story. They LOVE it and ask me to read it over and over.

Last week, I walked in on Ella with my Bible open on her lap "reading" Hannah the story of Jesus healing a blind man. They were "making mud" with their hands and placing it on each other's eyes, just as Jesus did.

A few days later while Ella was at preschool, I walked in on Hannah reading the same story to her baby doll. She was putting the mud on her babies eyes and talking to her about how the blind man could see again.

Sooooo precious, indeed!

Just the Six of Us

Six may seem like a lot but only to others. It is who we are. Some people like peace and quiet (who doesn't?), but the quiet we lack we gain all the more in giggles, feet scampering, I love yous, tickles, tiny voices singing. Being a mother to these four amazing little people and a wife to the most incredible person I know is a blessing that can't be put into words; I am living my dream.
