More Prayer Time with Kaden

Exact quotes from Kaden's recent prayers:

"Dear God,

Thank you for everyone comin' over (he always says this).  Thank you for this food (ok, it's bedtime).  Thank you for candy 'cause I love, love, LOVE candy... Even though Mommy won't let me have any..."

Whoa - time out!  Ya kinda forgot to mention to God that Mommy won't let you have any because for three days in a row you snuck candy from Ella's drawer, Daddy's gum stash, you name it and then lied about it!  Maybe you need to mention that to God, huh?

As he's saying this prayer, I can almost imagine one eye open looking at me for my reaction.  Little booger.

And another night at dinner:

"Dear God,

Thank you for this food, and this day.  Thank you for puppies cause I really, really, REALLY love puppies even though Mommy and Daddy won't let us have one..."

Anyone seeing a pattern here?

Just the Six of Us

Six may seem like a lot but only to others. It is who we are. Some people like peace and quiet (who doesn't?), but the quiet we lack we gain all the more in giggles, feet scampering, I love yous, tickles, tiny voices singing. Being a mother to these four amazing little people and a wife to the most incredible person I know is a blessing that can't be put into words; I am living my dream.
