It was at least a hundred bajillion degrees outside... Daddy was landscaping and four of us were smart enough to stay indoors where it was cool. But not this little dirt-lovin', truck ridin' toddler. She was right where Daddy was, gettin' dirtier than I had planned before we went out for Father's Day dinner.
As she fiddle faddled around Daddy's diesel like she was 2 going on 15, I realized the song playing in the background... "That's when a smoke was a smoke... And groovin was groovin!"
Quite appropriate, don't ya think?

Just the Six of Us
Six may seem like a lot but only to others. It is who we are. Some people like peace and quiet (who doesn't?), but the quiet we lack we gain all the more in giggles, feet scampering, I love yous, tickles, tiny voices singing. Being a mother to these four amazing little people and a wife to the most incredible person I know is a blessing that can't be put into words; I am living my dream.
