Favorites

Some of the girls' favorites:

1. Coloring, coloring, coloring
2. Reading George and Martha short stories. They have them memorized.
3. Playing Dora outside on their bikes.
4. OLD Tom and Jerry movies (who would have guessed?)
5. Puzzles (they are successful with 36 piece puzzles)
6. Writing and mailing letters to their grandparents. Mostly just random letters on a page.
Although tonight Hannah drew "Santa dead". Should I be worried? I think we sent that one to Papaw... He will be proud.
7. Going on "Discovery Hunts" and finding bird feathers, mushrooms, cicada shells, skinks (oh, yes, we caught a skink).
8. Bugs.... Lizards....
9. Playing doctor, school, Bible class, church, dance class, birthday party...
10. Barber shop with Mommy and Daddy as customers.

Just the Six of Us

Six may seem like a lot but only to others. It is who we are. Some people like peace and quiet (who doesn't?), but the quiet we lack we gain all the more in giggles, feet scampering, I love yous, tickles, tiny voices singing. Being a mother to these four amazing little people and a wife to the most incredible person I know is a blessing that can't be put into words; I am living my dream.
