A Day in My Life

It was just one of those days... You know, the kind where every minute is planned... The kind where the girls scream their way through Walmart and everyone stops to tell you, "Oh, somebody's not happy." (Oh, really??? Hadn't noticed)... The kind where you have 20 minutes to unload the groceries, make a quick phone call, and give the girls a bath... Only to have to get back on the road again and squeeze dinner in their starving stomachs.

So I get the bath water running, announce to the girls, "It's bath time" and run to make a quick phone call. TWO minutes I'm on the phone and go back to the bath expecting to see Hannah waiting patiently by the tub for me to strip her down and put her in. Instead, this is what I find:

I just had to laugh.

Hey, both the laundry and the baby are clean. Who could ask for more??

I see your dad is a contributing editor? Hi Dad!

Just the Six of Us

Six may seem like a lot but only to others. It is who we are. Some people like peace and quiet (who doesn't?), but the quiet we lack we gain all the more in giggles, feet scampering, I love yous, tickles, tiny voices singing. Being a mother to these four amazing little people and a wife to the most incredible person I know is a blessing that can't be put into words; I am living my dream.
