Recently I took the girls to get their flu shots and explained to them that we were doing it for Baby Kaden. Keeping the flu out of our home will keep him safe. See, I was getting them to take their much despised flu shots while teaching a bit of altruism at the same time... Well, here's a taste of our conversation as we left the building:
Ella: Mom, are you going to have any more babies?
Mom: No, honey. Why do you want me to have more?
Ella: No.
Mom: Why is that?
Ella: 'Cause I don't want to get any more flu shots.

Just the Six of Us
Six may seem like a lot but only to others. It is who we are. Some people like peace and quiet (who doesn't?), but the quiet we lack we gain all the more in giggles, feet scampering, I love yous, tickles, tiny voices singing. Being a mother to these four amazing little people and a wife to the most incredible person I know is a blessing that can't be put into words; I am living my dream.
