The Other Brother

We had some sweet girls over the other day who just recently had a baby brother.  Hannah and Ella got a taste of what it is going to be like with a little boy around.  It was a relief to Ella because she was hoping for a sister... In her words, "They're softer."  But she realized that baby boys are equally soft.  And Hannah informed his mother that day, "I really like this brother."

I walked into the kitchen tonight to hear Hannah telling our sitter, "We really like the other brother."  Oh, my.  What is she telling people.  This one needed some explanation.  :)

I dont think I have ever left a comment on your blog. Just want you to know that I enjoy reading your thoughts and sentiments. You capture my feelings much better than I ever could! I love you and the girls (and the boy).

Erin, I have a sneaking feeling that you and your son-to-be will be comepletely smitten with one another. I am so excited for you. Any thoughts on names? BTW, I am back to blogging again as well. Stop by and check us out. Love to you and yours.

Just the Six of Us

Six may seem like a lot but only to others. It is who we are. Some people like peace and quiet (who doesn't?), but the quiet we lack we gain all the more in giggles, feet scampering, I love yous, tickles, tiny voices singing. Being a mother to these four amazing little people and a wife to the most incredible person I know is a blessing that can't be put into words; I am living my dream.
